This register will also assist Building Certifiers when needing to assess an individual as a competent person under various state and federal legislation.

Applicants who do not appear to meet the registration criteria will be advised to update their qualifications where identified by the registrar as not meeting the registration criteria.

Successful applicants must be prepared to sign an indemnity form to indemnify the IFE from any action arising as a result of any careless or negligent act by the registered applicant
